Membership Categories / Dues

Regular Regular Membership is limited to fire districts duly organized and/or forming pursuant to the Arizona Revised Statutes. Fire District members are eligible to vote on Association matters if current in all Association financial obligations.

  • Regular Member Annual Fees – Regular      member annual fees are calculated based on assessed values within the District as set by the County Assessor for the prior year. Please call      480-496-4331 for dues amount. Fees are due and payable by January 1 and are past due on February 28 of each year.

Associate – Associate Memberships are open to individuals, firms, corporations, associations, educational institutions, or government entities that have an interest in fire prevention, fire suppression and rescue services. Fire Districts who qualify for Regular membership may not be Associate Members. Associate Members are not eligible to vote on Association matters.

  • Associate Member Fees determined by Board of Directors annually – Due January 1 of each year.

Corporate – Corporate Memberships are open to any firm, manufacturer, corporation or agency representing, producing or marketing products or services used by, or supporting, emergency service functions or activities. Corporate Members are not eligible to vote on Association matters.

Honorary Life – Honorary Life Memberships may be conferred upon any person who has rendered exemplary service to the Arizona Fire District Association, its aims and purposes.

Honorary life members are entitled to participate fully in the affairs of the Association with the exception of holding elective office, serving on the Board of Directors, or exercising voting privileges. Honorary life members must be nominated by a regular member of the Association and be unanimously approved by the Board of Directors at any duly noticed Board meeting. Contact the AFDA Administrative Office to submit an individual for Honorary Life Membership.

  • Honorary life members do not pay annual dues.
